One collector bids for the 1-of-1. A collective of supporters can team up to beat that bid, and if it wins, every member gets a copy. The auction decides how the art is shared.
BIDDER WINS
One collector wins the only NFT of the artwork. The collective gets no copies.
ERC721
COLLECTIVE WINS
Every member of the winning collective gets one copy. The bidder doesn’t get the original.
ERC1155
STAMP: an optional keepsake NFT proving you took part. The artist sets the price; it comes out of your refund.
TRY IT · MADE-UP AMOUNTS, NO WALLET NEEDED
The bidder offers 100 ETH for the original. To take the lead, the collective needs a shared total of at least 120 ETH: the bid plus 20 ETH. The patrons’ limits are 90, 70, 55, and 40 ETH. Move the bid, change the number of patrons and compare the two pricing rules.
Economic picks the biggest group that can beat the bid and splits the amount needed between them.
Collective wins: 4 patrons can each pay 30 ETH, which beats the bid. If the auction ended now, each would claim a copy and the bidder would get their 100 ETH back.

All ETH amounts are made up and rounded to two decimals. This example has no limit on the number of copies and leaves out STAMP prices and network fees. A real auction shows its own settings and a full breakdown before you claim.
No one needs to match the top bid. Each patron sets the most they’d pay for a copy; if the group beats the bid, the bidder has to bid higher to win it back.
When you bid, or join the collective with your limit, that amount is held by the auction. Joining doesn’t guarantee a copy: the winning collective is the group that can all afford one shared price.
Never more than your own limit. The artist picks the pricing rule: Economic gives more copies at a lower price, and Demand raises the highest total, which can mean fewer copies.
A bid near the end, or the collective taking the lead, can add a few extra minutes, up to a fixed limit. Always check the auction’s current end time.
Nothing arrives automatically. The winner claims the original, or each member of the winning collective claims a copy, and everyone else claims their money back. Network fees apply.
If the artist turns STAMP on, anyone who bid or joined the collective can keep one, win or lose. The winner of the original gets theirs free; for everyone else, the price comes out of the refund.
